Requirements

An Admin Assistant is required for our Glasgow depot with immediate start. Previous experience of working in a busy office would be advantageous.


The ideal candidate will be able to work within a busy transport office. The applicant should exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and have an ability to take initiative, deal with customers and prioritize daily tasks. Ability to work within a team and co-ordinate with our other depots would be very important along with a strong ability to meet tight deadlines.


Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers and other depots

  • Handle and coordinate delivery bookings

  • Schedule and confirm collections/drop offs

  • Entering jobs onto RoadRunner transport software

  • Provide ad hoc support around office as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to multitask

  • Good IT skills

  • Ideally have previous experience using RoadRunner or similar Transport and Logistics Software
